Creamsicle Greek Yogurt Whip
If you love oranges and love Greek yogurt, then you have to try this Creamsicle Greek Yogurt Whip—it’s a total game-changer, trust me! It’s fresh, bright, and packed with citrus flavor, making it an incredible cake filling. And the best part? It thickens like a mousse inside the cake—even though there’s zero gelatin in it!
This recipe starts with an overnight infusion—I steep cream with vanilla bean, sea salt, and fresh orange zest to bring out its deep, aromatic flavor.
The next day, I whip it together with Greek yogurt, powdered sugar, vanilla, and a touch of citric acid, and it turns into the most light and fluffy creamsicle-flavored cloud. For a pop of color, I love adding a bit of pink pitaya powder for a soft, natural pink hue.
Once inside a cake, the flavors intensify even more, with the blood orange zest shining through, while the citric acid gives it the perfect balance of sweetness and tang. I honestly can’t get enough of it—it’s just so unbelievably good!
You can pipe it onto cupcakes, use it as a cake filling, or even enjoy it as a dessert all on its own—it’s that delicious. This is easily one of my favorite flavors, and if you love oranges, you need to try this one. You’re going to fall in love with it!
