Daim Candy

Makes: 75 x 1-inch (2,5 cm) candies

Daim candy is one of the most popular chocolate bars in Sweden and a Nordic favorite. If you’ve never tried Daim candy, it’s a chocolate-coated almond toffee that’s simply irresistible.

You can enjoy Daim candy as it is or brush it with melted milk chocolate, just like the store-bought version available in most Ikea stores. However, you don’t need to cover it in chocolate to satisfy your sweet tooth—it’s delicious on its own!

You can skip the finely ground almonds in the recipe if you prefer, but the original Daim candy includes a hint of ground almonds for that unique, “little something” factor.

Daim candy is delicious in ice cream cakes, regular cakes, and cookies. I often use coarsely crushed Daim candy in my “Daim Ice Cream Cake,” which is my all-time favorite ice cream dessert. Check the Ice Cream category for the recipe!
