Petit Fours: Adorable Bite-Size Cake Treats

Petit Fours are perfectly adorable bite-size cake treats, ideal for special occasions or whenever you want to impress with something elegant yet effortless.

Instead of dipping each cake square in icing, I take an easier approach: I pour a luscious pink lemon glaze over the top and leave the cake in the fridge overnight. This method not only saves time but ensures a beautiful, smooth finish.

The lemon cake itself is moist yet slightly dense—just what you need to cut perfect, tiny squares or horizontal slices. Made with Greek yogurt, the cake layers are packed with flavor and paired with blackberry jam and lemon curd. Together, these flavors create an amazing, fresh combination, especially for lemon lovers!

I’ve always been inspired by the look of wedding cake samples, which is why I love cutting this cake into elegant horizontal slices or classic petit four squares. They’re just so satisfying to look at (and even better to eat!).

Serve these petit fours chilled straight from the fridge for a refreshing treat or at room temperature to bring out their full flavor. Either way, I promise you’ll find it hard to stop at just one—I know I can’t!
