Online converters that attempt to turn grams into cups are abundant, yet I advise against relying on them for my recipes. The lack of standardization can lead to significant discrepancies – one site might equate 1 cup of flour to 110 grams, while another claims it’s 120 grams. Even a minor excess of flour or sugar can dramatically alter the texture and taste of your cakes, cupcakes, and cookies.
When it comes to measuring spoons, I reserve their use strictly for small quantities that a recipe specifies in teaspoons or tablespoons. For everything else, the scale is your true companion in the kitchen.
