S haring the recipe today for a typical Swedish Cinnamon Bun/roll or “Kanelbulle,” as we call it here in Sweden.
O ktober 4th is National Kanelbulle day in Sweden, and there are lots of ways you can make a typical Swedish Kanelbulle; this one is filled with a delicious homemade almond paste that is flavored with grounded cinnamon.
I t´s rolled up and topped with pearl sugar and sliced almonds; right after baking, I glaze it with sugar syrup to give the rolls a beautiful shine and to keep these rolls moist all day.
T his dough you can prepare one the same day or let it proof overnight in the refrigerator to grow and develop more flavor.
