Tea-Infused Mascarpone Frosting
I don’t know if you have a favorite tea, but my absolute favorite is Hot Cinnamon Spice Tea. It has a beautiful blend of bold spices and citrus, which I absolutely love, and I often find myself incorporating these flavors into my baking. This tea-infused mascarpone frosting is one of my favorite ways to do just that.
What makes this frosting so special is the combination of soft mascarpone and light, whipped cream, creating an ultra-thick, super stable frosting that is truly out of this world. But what really takes it to the next level is the infusion of your favorite tea, adding a deep and unique flavor to an already incredible mascarpone frosting.
I love using Hot Cinnamon Spice Tea, which is a mix of black tea, orange peel, ground cinnamon, and ground clove. It gives the frosting a bold and slightly spicy-sweet flavor, almost like Cinnamon Imperial Candy—warm, aromatic, and completely irresistible. If you love cinnamon, you have to try this version.
That said, this frosting can be made with any tea you love. Whether you prefer the warmth of chai, the floral notes of earl grey, the freshness of a citrusy green tea, or even the sweet vanilla-like aroma of rooibos, the key is to choose a tea that truly speaks to you. The infusion process allows the tea’s flavors to blend beautifully with the mascarpone and cream, making each version unique.
If you’ve never tried a tea-infused frosting, this is the perfect place to start! Just pick your favorite tea, and let it bring a whole new depth of flavor to your desserts.
